CIRCLES
This track pays homage to my father, David W Helem Sr. This is a work that was started over several years ago. Initially, the second half of this composition was the starting point for this song. I needed transform this piece into something more emotional and meaningful after learning that my father had passed away.

SPRING into SUMMER
After hearing an instrumental of Mark Bronson’s Uptown Funk with Bruno Mars, I was inspired to create a digital ensemble that brought a little funk…..sort of.

Like every other young musician, I wanted to play the drums and the trumpet growing up. So instead of having 25 trumpet players, I volunteered to play the French Horn. From there, I picked up some training on keyboard, snare drum, participated in marching bands, and played in various concert bands, orchestras, and ensembles. This allowed me to develop an ear that was open to almost anything and everything.
Life is an incredible journey with uneven flow and stages of evolution. My music is a collaboration of different colors and textures that paint emotions, creating unique experiences.
GREY LIGHTS
My journey into the world of meditation began in early 2020. Many of us use music to navigate and guide our emotions through various journeys and destinations. Through music, a certain energy is created. Meditation gives us the ability to recharge and focus that energy in a special way. I’m taking you on a journey with me to find our light.
